Big Girl Panties
Yep. I started potty training Brynnan on Mother's Day. What a gift to me right? Well, she is 22 months and I wanted to get her trained before baby boy gets here and before she was "diaper trained". She is doing extremely well and I'm so proud of her! She looks so cute in her new panties and she loves to go potty so she can get her treat! Silly girl. I've done both day and night training with her and she is just fantastic. A few accidents and has woken up a few times wet but all in all the girl has got it! One thing she WILL NOT do. Go #2 in the potty. Why is that so hard or scary for children? Oh well, my little Loubie Lou is growing up and I'm proud of the toddler she has become!

April
April was a good month. My Dad had his 60th birthday , there was Easter and we got to have our big ultrasound! The baby is growing and healthy and we were pleased to learn we are having a son. Everyone was excited about the news and we got a few great pics. Now to get Rick to talk names with me.
As for the rest of the month the weather has been crazy causeing us all to get colds and that's no fun. My belly is growing and I'll be 6 months on Monday the 27th. Brynn loves to push up my shirt and kiss my belly or lay her head on it to see if she can "hear" the baby. She's so cute and still makes me smile all the time. On Easter she was a STAR! She wen straight for her basket of goodies and was pleased to find some cool toys such as a bubble wand, matchbox cars and a magna doodle. When it came time to hunt for eggs she needed no instruction. She went for it and found all the eggs I had hidden for her. That's one smart cookie...just like her Mom.

Well here it is February and I'm just now getting to this. Oops. I guess I'm not good at blogging.
Anyway, Rick and I got some great news in December and now that we are past the "scary" phase I can share with you guys...we're expecting baby #2 and our last!!! Miss Brynn is going to be a big sister and we couldn't be happier!!! When we told the Family at Christmas they were shocked and happy and many tears followed. We had Brynn tell them with her Big Sister shirt. It took them a minute but when one figured it out they all did. Talk about a chain reaction!!!
So here we are. I'm now 14 weeks along, Rick is still hard at work and Brynnan is still growing like a weed. Koley will be returning home in June and that will make me, well, the happiest Mom. My family will be together again. Now if we could only sell this dang house!!!

Thanksgiving
What a fun day we had. Brynn got to sport her vest and headband and my turkey came out GREAT! I was so happy about that one. My sis, Dana, was here so we had a blast eating and then laying around being fat and lazy. It snowed too! Of course when Brynn went down for her nap I slipped into my turkey coma. What bliss. Rick watched football while I dreamt of a clean kitchen and when I woke up...I ate again and then spent an hour cleaning. So many dishes and crumbs! I mean, it took 4 hours to make dinner and 10 minutes to eat it. What the heck is up with that? Oh well, I know I'll do it again next year and I'm OK with that! What other day do we get to eat and do nothing all day and not feel guilty?
I have a few pictures for you to see. Enjoy.
