So here we are. It's December and almost the end of another year. Brynnan LOVES Christmas now. She loves the lights, the tree, the presents. I love watching the old movies such as Frosty and Rudolph with her. She is so excited by it all. She even like visiting Santa. Noah is just oblivious to it all right now. As long as he is fed he's happy!
Brynnn got to pick out her own decorations for her own tree this year. She had so much fun. As you can see, she liked purple and "sparkley" stuff. I think she did a great job!
Koley finally did it! He passed his drivers permit test and now has the ID to prove it. He has driven me to and from the grocery store a few times and around the neighborhood. He does great. A real natural and he enjoys doing it. He'll be able to go for his license in March. In AZ you have to wait 5 months after you get your permit. He has a nice little truck that Rick and I bought him and it's 4 wheel drive. A stick shit and that makes him a bit nervous but the boy can drive it. I'm so proud yet so nervous!
So a friend of mine was telling me about the "candle" she bought for her daughter. It's a plug in and the scent was called bubblegum. She said she had it in her room and her Daughter would just go up to it and take a smell from time to time. She was commenting on how cute and funny it was. When asked if she was worried that her daughter would get burned she said no and then explained. See, she has this stuff called Scentsy. It's a flame less candle under a warmer and the scents warm and melt. The cool thing is when they melt they don't get hot. So even a toddler can put their finger in it and not get burned. Well, I was impressed and ordered some stuff and wow! LOVE IT!! The warmers are cute and some of the scents are really nice. My favorite right now is the Flirtatious. You gotta try this stuff out and see what it's all about for yourself. I promise you won't regret it!!
I'm so horrible. I haven't shared the good news here about our newest Aros to hit the street. He's so handsome and his name is Noah. Noah Wilson to be exact. Noah because it's one of my favorite boy names and Wilson after my Grandfather. Walter Wilson was his name. A Southern man with hands made of steel and an attitude to match if you crossed him. Smooth with the Ladies (or so he liked to think) and always a jokester too. A hard worker and a loving Husband to his wife Betty. Anyway...Noah was born on August 18Th at 10:58am. He weighed a whopping 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 19.5 long. Not a lot of hair but then again...none of my babies do! Brynn loves him tons and Koley says he's a cute kid. He likes to eat (every 40-60 minutes) and is growing like a weed. His nickname is Chub-a-Lubs and well, it's very fitting if I must say so myself.
A self taught cook, comic and DIYer. Quiet and simple though the Hubs like to call me sexy and intricate. A mother who lives for her children and hater of her middle name. A Southern girl who remembers chasing lighting bugs and drinking sweet tea. Collard greens on Sundays after church and a Grandma who was stronger than anyone I knew. I still say ma'am and Sir and though I haven't lived in NC for over 15 years, my twang is still very much a part of me. And please, excuse the typos. I'm sleep deprived.
